Want To Succeed? Create A Personal Mission Statement

I have talked about creating a personal mission statement before in a previous post and I want to revisit the idea because I think it especially important this time of year.

The power a mission statement can have in our lives is tremendous if we actually take the time to create one that is true to ourselves.

If you know what your vision is for you life the decisions you make on a daily basis become much easier. You aren’t just living for temporary satisfaction, but you are living a life with a bigger purpose.

With so many people wanting to get in better shape at the beginning of every new year a personal mission statement becomes that much more important.

We say we want to get in better shape yet every single year there are people who fail to do so.

Why is this?

What is holding us back from becoming the best version of ourselves?

I think it is a lack of vision.

So many people simply don’t take the time to figure out what is most important in their lives. They don’t think of the person they could actually become or the life they could actually live if they made the necessary changes to their current life.

I’m not saying the changes are easy, but they definitely are worth it.

A personal mission statement helps guide you so that you can make the necessary changes to your life.

I’m a firm believer that anything is possible in our lives. Why set any limits?

Do you want to lose 30 pounds? Make it happen.

Do you want a promotion at work? Make it happen.

Do you want to change the world? Make it happen.

These things aren’t easy, but hey, anything is possible.

As the weekend approaches and the first full week of January comes to a close I encourage you to create a personal mission statement to help guide your life. You can use this post to help you with it. I guarantee that it will be a great investment of your time.

Have a great day!

Justin
