Nutrition Challenge: Veggies!

veggies-1In previous posts I’ve shown you the Push Up Challenge as well as the Mantathlon. These workout challenges are a great way to challenge yourself physically and see what you are made of.

Today, however, I want to give you a different type of challenge – a nutrition challenge.

You see, regardless of what your fitness related goal may be, diet is going to play a huge part in your success.

If you really want to get the results you desire you are going to have to make some nutritional changes – you probably know this already, but those changes can be difficult.

To help ease you into a better diet I give to you the 1 week veggie challenge.

This challenge is quite simple – eat 3 servings of vegetables each day for a week.

In order for your body to function efficiently we need certain nutrients. Veggies, like we all should know by now, provide plenty of these nutrients. By eating them every day you’ll be doing your body a whole lot of good – helping you look and feel better.

Can you eat more than 3 servings of veggies each day? Of course you can and you probably should. However, many of us aren’t even close to 3 servings each day, so let’s start small here and build a solid base for the future.

Making any type of change takes time, but you’ll never be able to make a change until you take the first step – this challenge can be the first step for you.

My hopes are that this pushes you to add veggies in your diet more often so you can receive all the health benefits they offer and also start to make other changes in your diet.

Have a great week!
