Last night I watched a documentary on Netflix called “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.”
This documentary followed the journey of an Australian man named Joe Cross who went on a 60 day juice fast to help him lose weight and regain his health.
The documentary was really quite inspiring.
Joe ended up losing 100 pounds and getting off of all his medications – all from juicing – drinking only fruits and vegetables. Continue reading

Warmer weather is quickly approaching in Wisconsin and fat loss is once again becoming a high priority for many people.
During the Winter months (It seems like they never end sometimes in Wisconsin) it’s pretty easy to let yourself go, but before you know it warmer weather will be upon us and you know what that means – going to the beach, playing at the park, grilling out, Brewers games and just enjoying some quality time outside.

Well, Rashard Mendenhall is only 26 years old – young by NFL standards – and so the story of his retirement from the NFL after 6 seasons has become a big deal.
