In the last few weeks I’ve been transitioning from living in Green Bay to living in Milwaukee and with this transition of course comes the task of moving all of my clothes, furniture, bed, and other possessions.
Luckily, I had a good friend of mine with a truck help me transport my bed back to Milwaukee and also another friend of mine help me carry things to my car making the daunting task of moving a bit less daunting.

Ah yes, Endurance Training [ET] vs. High-Intensity Interval Training [HIT], one of my favorite topics of discussion in the fitness industry.
I’ve talked about High-Intensity Interval Training a couple of times before because of how beneficial it can be.

Jerry contacted me in the summer of 2012 looking to do what so many other people want to do – lose weight.
At that time Jerry weighed 270 pounds and, due to a family history of health problems, he knew that he needed to lose weight.
I was working out of Milwaukee during that summer, but he was in La Crosse. However, he saw that I was offering online personal training and wanted to give it a try.
Within about 6 months of working with Jerry he had lost 45 pounds.
After a little over a year Jerry was down 70 pounds in total and weighed 200 pounds – his ultimate goal weight! Continue reading

High intensity interval training has been proven to be one of the best ways to lose body fat. This isn’t even debatable; it works, plain and simple as that. I’ll even give you some examples to show you a bit later in this article. Not only is it effective, but it is efficient, taking much less time than steady state cardiovascular exercise.
